Confidence. Creativity. Friendship. Fun.

Serving The Dalles and the Columbia Gorge

At Emoji Improv, we offer fun, engaging acting and improvisation classes designed to help kids build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and friendships. Through theatre games, storytelling, character creation, and imaginative play, students learn to take positive risks, express themselves, think on their feet, and work as part of a team. Our classes provide a welcoming environment where every child can feel a sense of belonging, whether they are naturally outgoing or just beginning to find their voice. No acting experience is necessary. Just bring your imagination and a willingness to have fun!

The Heart Behind Emoji Improv

Cari Goin is a lifelong theatre enthusiast, educator, and performer who believes every child deserves a place to belong, be creative, and shine.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Cari spent more than 25 years teaching, directing, and performing in New York and Los Angeles, much of that time working in public schools and community theatre programs. Throughout her career, she has watched countless young people discover confidence, friendships, and a sense of purpose through the magic of theatre.

Now back in the Pacific Northwest and teaching middle school in The Dalles, Cari is excited to bring that same experience to local children through Emoji Improv. Her dream is to create a space where kids can laugh, take risks, use their imaginations, make friends, and feel a true sense of belonging.

Cari's passion is helping every child find their voice. Whether a student is naturally outgoing or quietly finding their confidence, she believes there is a place for everyone in theatre. Through games, storytelling, improvisation, and creative play, she strives to help children build confidence while having fun and supporting one another.

When she's not teaching or leading classes, Cari enjoys cooking, exploring the beauty of the Columbia Gorge, and spending time with her two cats, Fred and Harlow. She lives in Lyle and is grateful to once again call the Pacific Northwest home.

Ready to laugh, create, and make new friends? We'd love to welcome your child to Emoji Improv!
